ABOUT ME

Hannah Nino Harris is a mixed media artist based in San Antonio, TX. Her work explores the concept of selective memory by isolating elements from patterns, objects, or photographs. She intentionally reveals only what she wants the viewer to see, use, or wear. Inspiration is sourced from vintage shops, family photo albums, and treasured heirlooms as these objects reflect the textiles, patterns, and aesthetics of bygone eras. Each item serves as a vessel for fragmented memories and personal stories. Her practice is inspired by the family storyteller who shares only fleeting or selective recollections, and by individuals who curate their surroundings—choosing specific vintage pieces, displaying particular photographs, or preserving certain heirlooms—to reflect a personal narrative.
