ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand that participation in this cyanotype workshop involves hands-on artmaking activities, including the use of photographic chemicals (including ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide), UV exposure, water, ceramics, silk, stone, and other materials. I acknowledge that participation may involve risks including, but not limited to: skin or eye irritation, allergic reactions, staining of clothing or personal items, slips, trips, falls, minor cuts, or other personal injury. I voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks of injury, damage, or loss arising out of or related to my participation in this workshop. Release and Indemnification (Texas Law) In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the workshop instructor, assistants, hosting venue, property owners, and any affiliated organizers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liability arising from or related to my participation in the workshop, including but not limited to claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties. I agree to indemnify and defend the Released Parties against any claims brought as a result of my actions during the workshop. This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas.
